If your donors are seeing "Error Code 252" when attempting to donate it typically means the transaction is being "held for review". The transaction triggered one of your fraud filters in Authorize.net. Our platform will treat it as a decline since we can't know if it will later be approved manually.
This hold could be for many reasons. It depends on what fraud filter is triggered. These filters are used to protect your organization from suspicious transactions. Once triggered the fraud filter typically will decline or hold a transaction for review.
If you look in your Authorize.net transaction reports you can find this transaction and see why it was held, which filter triggered it. Then you can make any adjustments to the filter as needed.
